Be respectful, focus on technical substance, and engage in good-faith, evidence-based discussion. Unacceptable behavior includes harassment, offensive content, sexual advances, disruptions, rule-ignoring solicitation, and non-consensual recording. Report issues to a local organizer or [email protected]; organizers may issue warnings, removals, or permanent bans.

Use either a technical demo (live build/evals/traces) or a short welcome (tight elevator pitch + optional opt-in QR). Organizers must brief the actual presenter directly; avoid decks, attendee data capture, or sales.

How to Run Demos

For a 3-hour AI Tinkerers meetup, run max 8 demos (5 minutes each): optimal is two sets of 4 with a 10-minute break. Prep speaker order and a sharp intro; require running code, no slides, and only company names in stack traces. Use timers (4-min warning, cut at 5). End each demo by starting the next; end asking where to find presenters.

AI Tinkerers City Organizer Quickstart Guide

AI Tinkerers city organizers convene active AI builders for monthly, demo-driven meetups (usually 4–8 ~5-minute demos), with curated screening, open networking, and sponsor support using the AI Tinkerers platform (event pages, RSVP, reminders, check-in, screening, speaker workflows, media). Start with a 4–6 week date, secure a venue/sponsor, recruit real demos (aim 4–6), do direct 1:1 outreach, then host a tight, high-energy room.
