AI Tinkerers Code of Conduct

AI Tinkerers meetups, hackathons, and online spaces exist to support serious builders working on real AI systems. We are committed to creating a professional, inclusive, and harassment-free environment for everyone.

Our Expectations

All participants, including attendees, speakers, sponsors, organizers, and volunteers, are expected to:

• Be respectful, constructive, and professional
• Focus on technical substance and good-faith discussion
• Disagree thoughtfully without personal attacks
• Respect differences in background, experience, and perspective

This applies to all event spaces, including talks, demos, networking, chat channels, social events, and direct messages related to AI Tinkerers.

Unacceptable Behavior

The following behavior is not tolerated:

• Harassment, intimidation, or discrimination of any kind
• Offensive comments related to gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, disability, age, or appearance
• Sexual language, imagery, or unwanted advances
• Deliberate disruption of talks, demos, or discussions
• Persistent solicitation, recruiting, or pitching that ignores stated event rules
• Recording or sharing content without consent where prohibited

Enforcement

Organizers may take any action they deem appropriate, including:

• Verbal warnings
• Removal from the event
• Removal from AI Tinkerers online spaces
• Permanent bans from future events

Decisions by organizers are final. We prioritize the safety and quality of the community over any individual participant.

If you experience or witness unacceptable behavior:

Reports will be handled discreetly and taken seriously.
