Building Multi-Tenant Voice AI Systems on Fragmented Telephony Infrastructure

We built Vociply, an enterprise voice AI platform that helps organizations deploy and manage real-time voice agents for handling phone calls and executing customer workflows.

At a high level, we orchestrate foundational AI models, telephony infrastructure, and system design for scalability. The platform processes live calls, generates real-time responses, and connects to external systems to execute actions during conversations.

A key part of the system is handling telephony across fragmented infrastructure, especially in markets like Africa, where carrier reliability, routing behavior, and number provisioning vary significantly. We abstract these inconsistencies so developers can run consistent voice agent experiences across regions.

The system is multi-tenant, allowing multiple organizations to run isolated agents with their own configurations and integrations, all sharing the same underlying infrastructure.
