Browser Use is an open-source browser automation framework that gives AI agents a native browser action space (1.1.1, 1.2.6). Created by Magnus Müller and Gregor Žunić, the library allows developers to connect frontier models like GPT-5.5 or Claude to a self-healing browser harness (1.1.1, 1.1.7, 1.2.6). Instead of relying on brittle, hardcoded selectors, the agent analyzes the DOM, writes its own execution scripts, and navigates websites autonomously to complete tasks like data extraction, form filling, and multi-step workflows (1.1.1, 1.1.3, 1.2.6).
