## Recent Public Talks and Demos

### [Michi — giving a face to a conversational AI model](https://tokyo.aitinkerers.org/talks/rsvp_s9Dq_V1NOf8)

Michi is a voice-first conversational travel concierge built at the Perxona hackathon. Users talk with a 3D avatar to explore Tokyo activities, revise preferences in real time, and build an itinerary through natural conversation. A language model manages the dialogue and produces structured proposals, while a deterministic TypeScript engine controls retrieval, eligibility, scheduling, availability, and pricing against a bounded activity catalogue. Local text and audio models help adapt Michi’s delivery without influencing planning decisions.

### [Pre-Consultation Done with AI - Challenges in Healthcare AI](https://islamabad-rawalpindi.aitinkerers.org/talks/rsvp_DWlIRWr1pN4)

I built a voice AI that calls patients before their doctor's appointment, it asks about their symptoms and history, the stuff a nurse would normally cover over the phone. This was built under NDA, so I can't show the actual product. What I'll walk you through instead is an anonymized version covering the full flow: how patients are handled, what the pre-consultation conversation looks like, the guardrails I had to implement, and how HL7 secure messaging routes the summary to the clinic's Patient Management System. I'll keep everything end-to-end while staying within what the NDA allows.

### [Building Product Videos with Code: From React to Launch Video in 5 Minutes](https://zurich.aitinkerers.org/talks/rsvp_dcRr36x9-9s)

A programmatic video production pipeline using Remotion that lets you build product launch videos entirely in code. I'll walk through a live coding session where we build a video from scratch: composing scenes as React components, reusing existing web app UI components directly in video compositions, generating AI narration with ElevenLabs, syncing text transitions to the beat of a backing track, and rendering the final output. The demo shows how your easy it is to create launch videos for new features, based on the code of the feature.

### [0 Stars, 10/10: A Multi-Agent Pipeline That Makes a Podcast Every Week](https://dc.aitinkerers.org/talks/rsvp_VuQRBz6hhMM)

A closed-loop multi-agent system on AWS that produces a comedy podcast every week without human involvement. Seven agents orchestrated by Step Functions discover underrated GitHub projects, research the developers, write a three-persona comedy script, evaluate it against a quality rubric (with automatic rewrites on failure), generate cover art, produce audio, and publish the episode. Three AI personas debate each project: an overly optimistic hype beast, a dry British cynic, and an existential philosopher. The pipeline learns from its own LinkedIn engagement metrics to bias future episode selection toward what actually performs well. I'll play the first episode and walk through the agent coordination that produced it.

### [From Chat to Action: Omnichannel AI in the Real World](https://saopaulo.aitinkerers.org/talks/rsvp_sXjsXqQu7Ro)

I built an omnichannel AI agent that allows a conversation to move seamlessly across different communication channels while preserving context, memory, and session continuity. In this demo, a user starts by registering basic information, selects a scenario, and then interacts with the agent through WhatsApp. The agent can continue the same conversation across channels such as messaging, phone, email, and future digital touchpoints, without losing history or forcing the user to restart context. The goal is to demonstrate how conversational AI can become channel-independent, enabling a persistent and natural user journey across enterprise communication environments.

### [Building a 10¢ Research Paper TTS Pipeline: Kokoro, Claude, and the Hidden Costs of Audio](https://la.aitinkerers.org/talks/rsvp_wigMst0JqyA)

I built a native iOS + web app that turns research papers into listenable audio summaries in ~30 seconds. The stack: Claude Sonnet for summarization, Kokoro TTS (82M parameter on-device model) for voice synthesis, and a hacky but decently good solution to Kokoro's context window problem: breaking sentences into clauses. Also found out that 11labs is a lot more expensive than I thought.

### [Memory House: Building a Living World from a Single Image with Worldlabs](https://toronto.aitinkerers.org/talks/rsvp_th49b5_Gbgc)

Memory House is an experimental narrative project that uses WorldLabs’ worldbuilding tools and AI models to transform still images into explorable 3D memory spaces. The demo will walk through how environments are stitched, layered with spatial audio, and triggered through AI-generated voice and proximity systems. Each room—built from a single 2D image—becomes a playable fragment of memory, blending reality, dream logic, and procedural storytelling into one seamless experience. This session will cover: Building connected rooms using Gaussian splatting and stitching. Integrating spatial audio and interactive triggers with WorldLabs’ engine. Using AI tools like Veo3 (cinematic video generation) and ElevenLabs (VO) for emergent narrative design. How small design irregularities create the illusion of “distorted memory” and emotional presence. To optimize this workflow, I created World Builder Companion, a custom ChatGPT-powered system that analyzes scene outputs and refines prompts to match WorldLabs’ rendering strengths—balancing material density, lighting, and cinematic tone.
