### [Elroy: Open source assistant with long term memory and goal management](https://sf.aitinkerers.org/talks/rsvp_LE89RotPE-w)

Elroy is an open source CLI that captures and consolidates long term memory. It automatically searches memories and brings them into context during conversation, and consolidates redundant memories in the background. To give conversations more direction, Elroy also tracks and manages goals. These can be long term goals or short term, immediate ones. My demo will talk through different approaches to capturing, surfacing, and consolidating memories that I've tried out.
