FFmpeg is the leading, open-source multimedia framework: it decodes, encodes, transcribes, muxes, demuxes, streams, and filters almost any audio or video format.

FFmpeg is a powerful, cross-platform command-line utility and library suite (LGPL/GPL) for processing multimedia content. The core `ffmpeg` tool handles universal format conversion—like transcoding an input MP4 to an output WebM—while bundled utilities like `ffprobe` provide deep stream analysis and `ffplay` offers simple playback. Its foundational libraries, including `libavcodec` (for codecs) and `libavformat` (for containers), support thousands of formats and protocols, making it indispensable for major platforms like YouTube and VLC for everything from real-time streaming to complex video filtering.

### [Agentic video editing pipeline](https://montreal.aitinkerers.org/talks/rsvp_5bqTjWicF8s)

After interviewing 50+ video editors, head of marketing, film directors, we found the boring part of the professional video editing job that can be automated. I will demo the main video ingestion workflow: transcode to 480p using ffmpeg, upload that video to GCS, takes some frames and use it for classification, ask gemini to look at the video for video understanding, piping the audio to assemblyai for the transcript, use ffmpeg to segment the video, use gemini embedding on each segment so it is searchable.

### [Reverse-Engineering Video Editing Styles into Programmatic Templates via AI](https://dublin.aitinkerers.org/talks/rsvp_6EoN2x9ohBc)

I am building a feature for my video automation platform (shablon.co) that eliminates the manual toil of replicating complex video formats. Instead of manually adjusting cuts and keyframes, a user inputs a reference video. The system processes the file, analyzes the visual and auditory components (cut frequency, typography, motion graphics, transitions, and pacing), and extracts these parameters into a structured, programmatic template. It essentially reverse-engineers a final render back into a parameterized blueprint that can be instantly applied to fresh raw footage.

### [Solving Cold Start GTM with Claude Code (and Zero Headcount)](https://seattle.aitinkerers.org/talks/rsvp_saEaMuqlges)

Loupe is a luxury watch market intelligence and tool platform designed for collectors and dealers. With a one-person team and Claude Code, we ship SEO landing pages, Instagram content (carousels, reels, stories), editorial guides, across 22+ watch brands, all from CC. In this demo, I'll walk through the actual workflows: how a single CLI session can research a topic, query Supabase for watch data, generate templated visuals with Puppeteer, compose ffmpeg reels with Ken Burns and transition effects, and push a finished landing page and associated Instagram reel to production. Leveraging Claude Code with custom slash commands, custom MCP integrations, and a growing skills library that turns repetitive GTM work into repeatable pipelines. I'll show the real session transcripts, the messy iterations, and the parts that broke. Leveraging this method, we've grown from 0 to 100 followers in a week.

### [Easy indexing of NASCAR archived footage](https://seattle.aitinkerers.org/talks/rsvp_-X1ysKvGvHA)

I'm excited to show off what I've been doing but actually, I'm looking for feedback and advice. The last time I did this I worked on Bing Image and Video search and it was a custom pipeline and mostly we just wanted to find video clips, not really search within them for specific scenes. For NASCAR I need a low-cost rapid way to index race footage for a project I'm working on. So far, I have used Amazon Rekognition and Twelve Labs. I will demo both but if someone in the group has experience using these or other off the shelf indexing tools and integrating into Media Asset Management solutions I'd love to connect.

### [Local Transcription](https://valencia.aitinkerers.org/talks/rsvp_VfuECFTODQ8)

Too many meetings and recordings have private information that you dont want shared with 3rd party transcription services and platforms. I built a simple terminal app that transcribes all my meetings and recordings without using the platform automations. This runs with one command and does file cleanup. Its simple and rough, but it gets the job done reliably.

### [LuchaCoach: Your AI Meeting Sparring Partner](https://austin.aitinkerers.org/talks/rsvp_EZhXzUbQoH4)

I’ll demo LuchaCoach, a macOS app I built as a personal AI meeting coach. It records both mic and system audio, transcribes with Whisper, then uses GPT-4 to track goals, give live feedback during calls, and tell me when I’m rambling or missing key points. Think of it as a little lucha libre voice in your ear helping you not say something dumb. This project was born from two disappointments: I love what Granola.ai is doing, but their pricing and growth-driven roadmap pushed the product away from being a focused coach. And my Rabbit R1? Let’s just say it doesn’t show up for practice. LuchaCoach is my response: local-first, smart, and focused only on making your conversations sharper.

### [Automating my own video editing with whisper, ffmpeg and llms](https://amsterdam.aitinkerers.org/talks/rsvp_ndSVOIxM5xc)

When recording videos for my own startup content (which is about llm monitoring not related to videos at all), I kinda found a good flow recording it, but I loathe how much time I spend editing it, and it's not complicated edits, I started seeing some patterns so I thought it could be automated easily with tech we already have, still not perfect but the results are super good, wanted to share the hacks I threw together for it to work

### [Revideo - Create Videos with Code & AI](https://berlin.aitinkerers.org/talks/rsvp_md0QZAAgEJ8)

Revideo is an open source framework for programmatic video editing. It lets you create video templates in Typescript and deploy an API endpoint to render them with dynamic inputs. You can use Revideo to build video editing apps or to automate certain video editing tasks, especially when combining it with the use of AI tools. Companies are using Revideo to generate RPG video stories with the help of AI, or to mass-generate and A/B-test video ads. The biggest challenge we faced when building Revideo was enabling fast video rendering speeds. We render videos onto an HTML Canvas, so we needed to extract a bunch of frames from a canvas element and encode them as videos. We went through multiple iterations, first relying purely on HTML APIs, then using ffmpeg and later switching to the browser again to use the WebCodecs API. All in all, we were able to improve speeds by 70x over just one week. Interestingly, using the WebCodecs API might enable us to move all rendering to the browser, therefore enabling developers to not have to maintain any servers for rendering themselves. We'll talk about the challenges that still need to be solved to get there
