HKU Data Science Association

The HKU Data Science Association is the primary student body at the University of Hong Kong dedicated to fostering a professional community for data science and engineering students.

Established in the summer of 2023, the HKU Data Science Association (HKUDSA) serves as the official student representative body for the BEng in Data Science and Engineering program within the School of Computing and Data Science. The association bridges the gap between academic theory and industry practice by organizing high-signal events, including technical workshops, masterclasses, and networking sessions with corporate partners. Based in the Chow Yei Ching Building on the Pokfulam Road campus, the organization provides a collaborative platform for students to master practical tools, participate in hackathons, and build a robust professional network within the Hong Kong technology ecosystem.
