liz (in-house agent harness)

Liz is a lightweight, Express-style TypeScript framework built to give developers direct, zero-abstraction control over local and cloud-based AI agents.

Engineered as a high-control alternative to heavy, black-box agent frameworks, Liz brings predictable, middleware-driven architecture to agent development (inspired by Eliza but rebuilt from scratch). By utilizing a linear, Express-style middleware flow (handling validation, memory loading, and context wrapping sequentially), it eliminates hidden abstractions to give developers absolute authority over prompts, database schemas, and LLM calls.
