OpenProse is a programming language designed for AI sessions, treating a long-running AI session as a Turing-complete computer. It allows users to declare an ideal world-model through structured Markdown contracts (``.prose.md`` files), specifying desired outcomes and truths to be maintained. This differs from imperative orchestration tools by focusing on *what* should be true, rather than *how* to achieve it, with the runtime (like Reactor) handling the execution logic and re-rendering only what has changed. OpenProse programs are harness-agnostic, meaning they can run across various AI agent hosts such as Claude Code, Codex, and Amp.
