High-intensity coherent light beams delivering micron-level precision for bloodless, minimally invasive procedures.

Modern surgical lasers utilize specific wavelengths (such as the 10,600 nm CO2 or the 1,064 nm Nd:YAG) to vaporize tissue while simultaneously sealing blood vessels. This process (hemostasis) significantly reduces intraoperative bleeding and post-op swelling. Surgeons rely on these tools for delicate tasks: removing tumors, clearing obstructed arteries, or performing LASIK eye corrections. By focusing energy into a tiny spot size (often 0.1 mm or less), the laser limits thermal damage to surrounding healthy cells. It is a cleaner, faster alternative to the traditional steel scalpel.

SharpArrow is developing a surgical laser for surgeries. We are collaborating with Johnson&Johnson (J&J) and have two offices in Shanghai and San Francisco provided by J&J. We are not looking for funding in Seattle and couldn't raise any funding either. Fortunately it appears all funding is coming from Shanghai and San Francisco.
