TUI
Ratatui is a Rust library used to build rich terminal user interfaces with complex layouts and immediate-render graphics.
Modern TUIs move beyond simple command-line prompts to provide full-screen, interactive dashboards. Ratatui (the successor to tui-rs) enables developers to create sophisticated layouts using constraints, gauges, and sparklines. It powers high-performance tools like Bottom (a graphical process monitor) and GitUI. By leveraging an immediate-mode rendering model, it ensures the terminal UI remains responsive even when handling high-frequency data streams or complex widget trees.
