AI Tinkerers API Changelog

Changes to the Agent API, MCP endpoint, and API terms are announced here. Breaking changes get lead time where practicable.

2026-07-05

• API Beta Terms rewritten (terms version 2026-07-05). New structure: a plain-English rules summary up front, plus new sections covering AI and model training (personalized agent memory is explicitly allowed; training generalized models on API data is not), data deletion windows (14 days after access ends), breach notification ([email protected] within 24 hours), enforcement, and liability. • Terms acceptance at key creation. Creating or regenerating an Agent API key now records acceptance of the current API terms version.
• [email protected] is live for reporting exposed keys, data exposure, or security issues. Reports open a support case with the AI Tinkerers team.

2026-07-04 and earlier

• Agent API beta launched: sk_-prefixed keys with read, write, generate, and export scopes, MCP endpoint at /api/agents/mcp/v1, live OpenAPI at /openapi.json, and agent guidance at /agents.md.
